Happy 2nd Michael! Married for 1 year and 2 months now. I love you!
We celebrate Happy 2nd's every month because we got married on June 2. Who doesn't love a reason to celebrate? Uncle Chris and Aunt Becca passed down the tradition to us - celebrate your wedding anniversary number. Sometimes its a bouquet of flowers, maybe a favorite dessert, or a dinner out. Sometimes it is simply a contest to see who can say "Happy 2nd" first, but I don't think thats as romantic because it fosters a sense of competitiveness and lets the other spouse down when they don't "win." All in all it's a fun chance to reflect on our marriage, we love to celebrate Happy 2nds.

I approve of that tradition. It's easy to celebrate each additional month till a year, but we're totally going to keep it going after September 15. Happy Fifteenths, here we come! :)
I might have to gag, siesta...
I commend your romantic ways. Mark and I, albeit very much in love, have a hard time remembering how many years we have been married.
