We finally bought a couch! Prior to this summer, we had been borrowing John and Gabrielle's sofa and chair until they got married. Well, they got married... so we had no living room. Michael and I thought we would be fine for a few months without a couch but were quickly proven wrong when our behinds started to hurt after sitting through 30 minutes of America's Funniest Home Videos. Then one night we had 10 people in our house and we were all sitting on the floor. LAME.
We made our way down to the local Grand Furniture store for the Christmas in July sale. The nice, but completely sketchy salesman Barry greeted us with 2 refreshing bottles of coke-a-cola. It must have been the coke that put us in a good mood because we liked the very first couch we saw. Sectional - done! Micro-fiber-done! Neutral color - done! Does it fit- Who knows? SOLD. Our first major household purchase as husband and wife.
So there it is. Come over and sit on it with us, it's sooo comfy!

don't knock the coca cola. its the least they can do after stalking you as you 'browse' around the store.
I love the couch! its an excellent purchase.
Haha! That's how we bought our couch... "Big and comfy...done! Microfiber...done! Does it fit? No idea! SOLD!" :) They're beautiful!
And thank you for the advice on the Pad Thai from your Thai side. I really do appreciate it, but I'm not sure where to buy cat steaks...
Ummm I think I know exactly the salesperson you are talking about...Jackson and I went in there and there was this greasy guy who was really nice but very sketchy...it was probably Barry. Funny!
