Peach Cobbler

1/2 C. Margarine
1 C. flour
1 C. sugar
1/8 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
3/4 C. milk
2 1/2 C. fruit, sweetened to taste

Melt margarine in 8"x8" pan. Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Add milk slowly to make paste. Pour over margarine. Add fruit (you can use peaches, strawberries, blueberries, whatever) but do not stir. Bake 40 minutes at 425 degrees.

This is such an easy dessert to make. It's so easy but I've never made it before, I've just eaten it. It's a bread-like cobbler. Yummy summer.

Even better if you pick the peaches yourself! You and Michael should head out to Chiles here in Crozet. The peaches are sooo good!
