Too Feminine?

So I have no problem with loofah's (lufas? lufahs? loofa? gauze sponge?). In fact, I love them! They provide excellent exfoliation of the skin while providing a deep cleanse and moisture to the body. So as we are preparing for our summer trip, I thought that my husband should be pampered with as much spa treatment as I should. I bought him a gray loofa!

It was really hard to convince him to use it since all he ever knew was that I use a big pink one. He even tried to skip out on packing it?!?! Is there anything wrong with a man using a loofa? I think not! He'll never see another washcloth again...

How Now Shall I Pack?

My day has been consumed by the worries of travel. Oh I worked today, but my thoughts were all on how I can fit 22 pairs of underwear, 17 shirts, 5 dresses, 2 pairs of jeans, 3 skirts, 4 capris, 2 shorts, shoes, hair essentials, make-up, books, etc. into the world's smallest suitcase. Forget the stilettos! Now that I think of it, cobble-stone streets probably wouldn't entertain the heel. Not to mention this is only after packing an entirely different bag for next week's trip to Maine. Goodness gracious. The world of travel just doesn't fit the All American Girl!

But God is good and I thank Him for the opportunity to travel and the earthly possessions that cause these troubles in the first place!

Interpretation

Hello new world!
The Dauberts have officially become cyber-social with our very own page "Los Dos Daubertos!" If anyone of you is reading this and saying "what does 'los dos daubertos' mean," allow me to interpret: the two Dauberts. You see, both Michael and I are fluent in Spanish (well, I claim fluency) and majored in Spanish at the University of Virginia. See photo. Actually, it was just me who graduated in May. Michael already graduated a year ago, hence the goofy face I was making the moment this photo was snapped.

We both love to speak Spanish and thought that the title "los dos daubertos" was awesome. Now for those of you who have more than an entry level gringo understanding of Spanish, you may be thinking "what will they do when they have children and become 3 or 4 daubertos?" Honestly, probably nothing. We like the title we've chosen and nothing will interfere. Los dos daubertos nunca cambiara. And so begins the blogging of Miguel and Megan.
