i think there is a third thing you have to spend money on: good razors. I got some from the dollar store once with one blade and that taught me a lesson alright.
I can appreciate this! While I don't buy Charmin anymore (I go for the knock-off Charmin at Sam's Club), I can't imagine buying that really cheap stuff that is so thin that it's basically see-through. Yuck....

Yeah, I'm pretty hardcore about good TP, too. I believe there are 2 things that you have to spend money on: TP & Trash bags.
I had to teach Jamie this lesson early on when he once bought the cheapest toilet paper he could find.
